Hand your social media tasks to Manus.

Manus works through long tasks on its own. Connect SociaHive and it can research a topic, write the posts and put them on your calendar in one go.

Manus

Manus, in its Connectors settings

  1. 1

In Manus, open Connectors and add a custom MCP server by URL.

  2. 2

Name it SociaHive and paste the SociaHive address as the server URL, then save.

  3. 3

If Manus offers a sign-in, use it: sign in to SociaHive and approve. If it asks for a key or header instead, create a key in SociaHive under Settings → API keys and enter Bearer followed by the key.

  4. 4

Check that Manus lists the SociaHive tools, then start a task that names SociaHive, for example asking it to list your connected accounts.

Then: Give Manus a task with a clear end, like a week of posts from this week’s news.

  • Manus does the reading, writes the posts and queues them.

  • A short report built from your real post performance.

  • All the affected posts move at once, times kept.

What is Manus?

Manus is a general-purpose autonomous AI agent. You describe a task, and it plans the steps and carries them out in its own cloud workspace, browsing, writing files and calling the apps you connect.

Apps reach Manus through connectors. Manus ships a set of prebuilt ones and lets you add your own MCP server by URL, which is how SociaHive connects. Manus 2.0 also added Automations, which start tasks on a schedule or from events.

With SociaHive connected, a Manus task can end with posts actually on your calendar across 22 platforms, a report from your real numbers, or a comment-to-DM automation saved as a draft.

Can Manus post on a schedule?

Manus Automations can start a task on a schedule or from an event like a new email or calendar entry. We have not confirmed that an Automation can use a custom connector such as SociaHive, so test one before you rely on it.

Either way, the timing of your posts is held by SociaHive. Once Manus schedules a post, SociaHive publishes it at that time from its own queue, even if no Manus task is running.

What Manus gets: the SociaHive MCP server.

One address, https://www.sociahive.com/api/mcp. The same server works in every AI tool on this site.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open standard AI tools use to reach outside apps. SociaHive runs a hosted MCP server, so there is nothing to install or keep running: Manus calls it over the internet and acts in your SociaHive account. These are the tools it uses most. See every tool and the API.

ToolWhat it does
list_accountsLists the social accounts you connected to SociaHive.
create_scheduled_postWrites a post, with text, images or video, for one or more accounts.

One connection, every channel.

Connect each account once in SociaHive and Manus can post to it. Scheduling covers 22 platforms; X needs a paid plan.

DM automations run on Instagram, Facebook, Messenger and WhatsApp on every paid plan, and on Telegram on Pro and Agency.

Is it safe to let Manus post for you?

  • You approve the connection

Sign in to SociaHive and approve, or use an API key you can delete at any time. The agent never sees your social passwords.

  • Read-only if you want

Tick “Read-only access” when you connect and the agent can look at everything and change nothing.

  • Nothing goes live by surprise

Publishing right now asks for your yes in the chat. Automations it builds start as drafts until you turn them on.

  • Revoke in one click

Settings → Connected apps in SociaHive cuts the agent off on its next request. API keys are deleted under Settings → API keys.

Salt Labs disclosed a prompt-injection flaw in Manus that could expose credentials of connected apps; Manus has patched it. Signing in with OAuth, or using a SociaHive key you can revoke, keeps the exposure small, and publishing still waits for your confirmation.

Connect Manus

Troubleshooting Manus.

Manus times out when it calls SociaHive.
Manus gives up on slow requests. Ask for smaller batches, for example a week of posts at a time instead of a quarter.
Manus does not use SociaHive in a task.
Name SociaHive in the task itself. If it still skips it, open Connectors and check that SociaHive was saved and lists its tools.
Every call fails as unauthorized.
If you used a key, the value must be Bearer followed by the key, and the key must still exist in SociaHive under Settings → API keys.
It asks me to upgrade
MCP access is part of the SociaHive trial and every paid plan. On the free plan the agent can connect, but each request answers with an upgrade link.
An account is missing
The agent only sees accounts connected in SociaHive. Connect it under Connected accounts, then ask the agent to list your accounts again.
A post did not go out
Ask the agent for the post’s status, or open it in SociaHive. A failed post shows the platform’s reason, for example an expired login that needs reconnecting.
It says it is not allowed to change anything
You connected with read-only access. Remove SociaHive under Settings → Connected apps and connect again without ticking it.

FAQ

Is SociaHive in the Manus connector directory?

Not yet. Add it yourself as a custom MCP server by URL; it works the same way once added.

Do I need a SociaHive API key for Manus?

Only if Manus does not offer a sign-in for the server. Then you create a key in SociaHive and enter it as a Bearer value.

Can Manus post to social media automatically?

It can schedule posts as part of any task, and SociaHive publishes them on time. Posting right away asks you to confirm first.

Why connect SociaHive instead of one network at a time?

SociaHive adds scheduling across 22 platforms, one calendar, analytics across accounts and DM automations, all from one connector.

Is Manus the same as Cue?

No. Cue is a separate app from the Manus team for personal agents that keep a standing job. Manus is for tasks you hand over one at a time.

Which platforms can Manus post to?

Every platform SociaHive schedules to, from Instagram and LinkedIn to Mastodon and WordPress. X needs a paid SociaHive plan.

Can it post or change things without asking me?

Automations it builds start as drafts, with every step written out, until they are turned on. Publishing a post right away needs your yes in the chat. If you only want it to look, tick “Read-only access” when you connect: it can read everything and change nothing.

Which plans include it?

The 7-day trial and every paid plan. On the free plan your assistant can still connect, but each request answers with a link to upgrade instead of running.

How do I disconnect it?

Open Settings → Connected apps in SociaHive and revoke it. It is cut off on its very next request. You can also remove the connector in your assistant.
