Where your TikTok logo shows up
On TikTok, your profile picture travels with every video. In the For You feed it sits as a small circle on the right-hand side of the screen, above the like button, with the follow button attached. It also appears beside your comments and at the top of your profile.
All of those are small. A viewer decides in a moment whether to tap through, so the logo has one job: be recognisable at that size, video after video. Busy logos and photos with small faces lose that recognition fast.
Making a logo that reads on a moving feed
Your picture sits on top of video, not on a plain page, so it competes with whatever is playing behind it. A solid, saturated background colour separates it from the video better than a pale one. Then put a light or dark letter on it, whichever gives the most contrast.
Stick to one to three characters: your initial, a short abbreviation of your username, or an emoji that matches your niche. The tool keeps the text inside the circle crop and warns you when the colours are too close.
If you post across several platforms, use the same logo everywhere so people who find you on TikTok can find you on Instagram too.

Changing your logo without losing recognition
Regular viewers recognise accounts by picture before they read the name. Changing the logo often makes you harder to spot in a fast feed. If you are refreshing it, keep one element the same, such as the colour or the letter, so returning viewers still know it is you.
Your username stays the same when you change the picture, so the logo is the easiest part of your profile to update. Download a new version here any time; it takes a minute.
