Where your Facebook Page logo appears
The profile picture is the most repeated image on a Facebook Page. It sits on the Page itself, but also beside every post in the feed, every comment and reply your Page leaves, and every message people get from you in Messenger. In most of those places it is a small circle.
That changes what a good logo looks like. Fine lines, small text and taglines disappear at comment size. A single initial, a short monogram or a recognisable emoji stays readable everywhere the Page shows up.
The cover photo is a separate, wide image (820 x 312) that only appears at the top of your Page. Put your full name, slogan or product shots there, and keep the profile picture simple.
Making a Page logo that matches your brand
Start with your brand colour as the background. If you have two brand colours, the gradient option blends them. Then choose a text colour with strong contrast; the tool warns you if the letters will be hard to read.
Pick the font to suit the business: a heavy sans weight reads as modern and direct, a serif feels more traditional, and monospace suits tech and studio brands. Keep the letters to one to three characters so they stay large inside the circle.
Check the small preview. If you cannot read the logo at that size, increase the text size or contrast before you download.
Keeping the Page consistent with your other accounts
People often meet a business on Instagram first and look it up on Facebook later. Using the same logo on both, at the same crop, helps them recognise the right Page among similar names.
Instagram also shows profile pictures as circles, so the same 512 x 512 file works there without changes. If you manage both from SociaHive, posts and replies on both accounts carry the same picture.
