Example: a formatted LinkedIn post
A post that is easy to read in the feed puts the hook in the first line, before the "see more" fold, uses short paragraphs with blank lines between them, and saves bold for one or two phrases. Here is the same post before and after formatting.

How to format a LinkedIn post
1. Type or paste your post into the box, or tap "Try a sample post".
2. Select a few words and tap Bold, Italic, Bold italic, Underline or Strikethrough. With nothing selected, the style applies to the whole post.
3. Select some lines and tap Bullets or Numbered list. Tap it again to remove the list.
4. Check the preview: is the hook before "...see more"?
5. Tap Copy post and paste it into LinkedIn. Clear formatting turns styled letters back into plain text.
Unicode styles: what to know
Bold and italic here are letters from the Unicode Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block, not formatting. They look styled everywhere because they are different characters, which has two costs: screen readers may not read them as words, and LinkedIn search treats them as different text.
They cover the Latin letters a to z and the digits; accented letters and other alphabets stay as they are. Underline and strikethrough add a combining mark to each character, which some fonts draw less neatly.
