Plan the week's posts in a chat, ship them in the same chat.
Claude is Anthropic's flagship assistant, and it ships with native MCP across both Desktop and web. Add SociaHive's server and Claude turns from 'helps you draft a caption' into 'plans next week's calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads and TikTok, schedules every post under your tier limits, and pings you Friday with what landed' — all in plain English, all without leaving the chat.
Get StartedWhy pair Claude with SociaHive
Built for non-developers, no shell required
Cursor and Claude Code are great for engineering teams; Claude Desktop is built for everyone else. Marketers, founders, and operators can run the same multi-platform workflows — content planning, DM flow creation, weekly analytics — through a chat that feels like talking to a strategist who happens to have hands.
Reference MCP implementation
Anthropic shipped MCP and Claude is its reference client. Tool calls are clearly surfaced, confirmations are explicit, errors come back in plain English. SociaHive's 35 tools appear in Claude's tool list with full schemas — for any connected platform, you get the same automation surface.
Conversation persists across sessions
Plan Monday's launch, close the laptop, open Claude on Tuesday and ask 'how did the LinkedIn post do?' — Claude pulls analytics through get_post_analytics and answers in the same thread. Long-running campaigns become long-running conversations, not a stack of dashboards.
Add SociaHive to Claude Desktop
Edit your Claude Desktop config (or use the Connectors UI on Claude.ai). One config block, both transports — works the same on macOS, Windows, and the web app.

}A real workflow: plan the whole week in one chat
Friday afternoon, content brief in hand, you open Claude and ask for a calendar. Claude proposes the week, drafts the captions, and schedules everything across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Threads — pausing for confirmation before any post goes live.
- 1You drop the week's themes in chat: 'Mon: launch recap, Tue: customer story, Wed: behind-the-scenes, Thu: tip carousel, Fri: weekend hook.' You ask Claude for a multi-platform plan.
- 2Claude proposes a calendar grouped by platform. Instagram gets the carousel and behind-the-scenes; LinkedIn gets the launch recap and customer story; Threads gets the punchy hooks and tips. You suggest two tweaks. Claude updates the plan.
- 3You say 'schedule it'. Claude calls list_accounts, then create_post for each of the 12 entries (5 days × multiple platforms), with platform-appropriate length and the right media references.
- 4Claude lists every scheduled post ID with the URL where you can review or edit before publish, and asks: 'Want me to set a reminder Friday 4pm to pull this week's analytics?'
You:
Plan next week's content. Themes: Mon launch recap, Tue customer story,
Wed behind-the-scenes, Thu tip carousel, Fri weekend hook. Spread across
Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads. Schedule for 10am each morning.
Claude:
Drafted a 12-post week. Proposed split:
Mon 10:00 LinkedIn "What we shipped this week" (longform recap)
Mon 10:00 Threads "Quick recap, 3 things →" (3-post thread)
Tue 10:00 LinkedIn Customer story — Sarah at Lumen
Tue 10:00 Instagram Customer carousel — 5 slides
Wed 10:00 Instagram Behind-the-scenes Reel
Wed 10:00 Threads "Behind the launch was…" (single post)
Thu 10:00 Instagram Tip carousel — 7 slides
Thu 10:00 LinkedIn Tip carousel — same content, native upload
Fri 10:00 Threads Weekend hook
Fri 10:00 Instagram Weekend hook (Story + feed)
Want me to schedule? I'll surface each create_post call before it runs.
You: yes, schedule it.
Claude:
[uses list_accounts]
[uses create_post] × 10 (each confirmed)
Done. All scheduled. Reminder set for Fri 16:00 to pull analytics. What You Can Do with Claude + SociaHive

Frequently asked questions
Can Claude actually post to Instagram and LinkedIn, or just draft captions?+
It can do both — when SociaHive's MCP server is connected. Without an MCP server, Claude is a text model: it drafts, but you copy-paste. With SociaHive connected, Claude calls create_post directly, schedules the post on the right platform, and surfaces a confirmation before anything publishes. The same applies to DM flow creation, analytics queries, and contact tagging.
Does this work on Claude Desktop, Claude.ai, and the iPhone app?+
MCP support is rolling across surfaces. Claude Desktop (macOS/Windows) supports it today via the config file. Claude.ai supports it via Connectors. The mobile apps will inherit support as the Connectors infrastructure rolls — until then, plan from desktop, monitor from mobile.
How is Claude + SociaHive different from a Custom GPT or a Zap?+
A Custom GPT is locked to one workflow, defined up front. A Zap is a single trigger-action chain. Claude with MCP is conversational — it discovers tools, composes calls inside one reasoning step, and adapts when you change your mind mid-chat ('actually move the LinkedIn post to Wednesday'). For one-shot automation, a Zap is fine. For ongoing planning, the chat shape wins.
Will Claude send a DM or publish a post without asking me first?+
No. SociaHive flags publish, send, and delete as destructive — Claude must surface an explicit confirmation before any of those run. The rule is platform-agnostic: same confirmation guard for an Instagram DM, a LinkedIn post, a WhatsApp broadcast, or a deleted flow on Telegram. Read-only actions run without prompting.
Does using Claude with SociaHive cost extra in Anthropic credits or SociaHive credits?+
Two separate meters. Claude tool calls count against your Anthropic plan's message quota — same as any conversation. SociaHive calls count against your subscription tier limits and AI credits where applicable (generate_flow consumes credits; create_post or get_post_analytics do not). Both are visible in their respective dashboards.
